  • 1¾ cups cooked sweetcorn
  • ¾ cup polenta (cornmeal floor)
  • ½ cup plain unbleached self-raising flour
  • 2 tsp egg replacer
  • ½ tsp corn-flour
  • ¼ tsp curry powder (non-obligatory)
  • ¾ cup chopped sundried tomatoes
  • 1 giant Spanish onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup of grated vegan melting cheese of your alternative
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup finely chopped parsley
  • ¼ cup grated carrot
  • salt and pepper to style

Put together Sweetcorn Dawn Burgers [Vegan]

  1. Place half of your sweetcorn in a meals processor and pulse till easy and creamy.
  2. In the meantime, add all of the dried substances in a big mixing bowl and stir till blended.  Now add the processed sweetcorn, along with the remaining complete sweetcorn, and provides them a great combine.  Lastly, add the sundried tomatoes and the remainder of the substances, one by one, and proceed to combine till all has blended into a pleasant thick consistency.  If a bit of too runny, add a bit of extra flour.  Then place within the fridge for an hour.
  3. Mud a big plate with flour, roll your sleeves up, wash your fingers, and roll sufficient of the combination within the palms of your fingers to kind a ball. Then flatten barely into the form of a burger, place on the dusted plate, and put in fridge for an additional couple of minutes.
  4. Now warmth some olive oil in a non-stick frying pan, and fry the burgers for round 5 minutes on a medium to low warmth – flip them over as soon as, after which just a few moments later, flip them one final time.  Lastly, place onto a greased dish and oven bake for quarter-hour or so in a 400ºF (200ºC) oven, till golden.
  5. Serve sizzling and don’t hesitate so as to add some extra grated vegan cheese!!!  Candy chilli sauce is a favorite topping for this dish – as is a big salad to accompany it!!!
